Heart of America Patriot Foundation Scholarship

Mackay Hall, Park University

Park U military studentsThe Heart of America Patriot Foundation was founded in 2012 to honor, support, and empower veterans who served our nation. Since the beginning, the organization has supported Gold Star families, Honor Flights to D.C. memorials, and educational grants for veterans and their families. The Heart of America Patriot Foundation has provided much needed financial support to Park University military students, veteran students or student family members over the past three years.

With more than 50% of Park students having a military affiliation, we are launching a new initiative to help provide scholarships to dependents and spouses of 100% disabled or deceased veterans who are not eligible for VA benefits that provide them with tuition and living expenses.

While the GI Bill® funds college tuition and living expenses for qualified veterans and dependents of veterans who die in the line of duty, dependents of 100% disabled veterans or those who die after their service only receive a stipend insufficient to cover college tuition and living expenses.

Your contribution towards this initiative will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000, by the Heart of America Patriot Foundation.

If you are interested in becoming a funding partner with a gift of $5,000 or more, please contact Advancement@Park.edu.

To apply for this scholarship, visit www.park.edu/patriotscholarship.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

College of Management Graduate Degree Annual Scholarship

The Park University College of Management is launching an annual scholarship for graduate students. Our goal is to award up to $1,500 per term to a qualifying student(s) based on funding availability.

When you help a current student fulfill their goal of completing their degree you are making an investment that not only impacts that student, but every colleague and employer they work with. Your gift to the College of Management Graduate Degree Annual Scholarship is an investment in your Park family as well as future business leaders and colleagues.

Qualifying applicants must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in one of the following programs:

  • Master in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master in Healthcare Administration (MHA)
  • Master of Science in Information Systems and Business Analytics

Thank you for your support!

Coach English

“Coach is like a father to so many, he shaped us and believed in us. He knew he’d get the performance on the court from us, he pushed us to excel in our academics and gave us the tools we need to be successful in our communities and our businesses.” – Former Athlete

After 26 years of proudly serving as Park’s Athletic Director, Coach English retired from his beloved post.

We know Coach’s legacy will live on in the hearts of many Park athletes, alumni, faculty and staff. Your contribution to the Coach English Endowed Scholarship will enable our new Athletic Director the opportunity to work with Student Financial Services to provide funding to a Parkville Student Athlete that exemplifies the values and work ethic Coach asked of all of his athletes.
